- Super Randonnée Permanents: The board noted there has been lots of interest generated in the online community about these events. Mr. Ellis and Crista Borras will get the website updated with info on how to submit routes and additional info about the program, including the required tool to calculate the elevation gain. The board also discussed an online submission application form for this and the regular permanents. A target launch of January 1, 2013 has been proposed unless the program is ready sooner. The board decided to make a separate decision on "tourist" mode under the program.
- Calendar planning: RBAs are in the process of assembling ride schedules for the 2013 season. Mr. Ellis noted that 7 1200Ks are on tap for 2013. Mr. Ellis or Ms. Springsteen agreed to send a note to the RBAs to start the calendar submission process rolling.
- Coast to Coast Award: The board agreed to clarify that to achieve a 2nd C2C award, 4 unique 1200Ks are needed that are also unique from the 4 used for the rider's 1st C2C.
- Board Election Schedule: The board noted that the next newsletter will be to printer before 9/15, so agreed to place the board election form in the Winter/November issue.

The board agreed to explore outsourcing the layout and to explore greater roles for newsletter committee members to smooth the production process.
- Randonneurs Mondiaux Results Processing: Mr. Thomas noted that the RM Calendar was not getting done in a timely fashion, and results processing was behind. He said he had made an offer on behalf of RUSA to assist RM with infrastructure for calendar creation, results processing, certification, etc., and was awaiting a response.
