  1. Untimed Controls

    The board discussed options for untimed controls for cases where intermediate control times would be difficult to satisfy due to mountainous or other conditions. In these cases, untimed information or post-card controls may be used.

  2. Ultra R-12 Award

    The board approved a new Ultra R-12 award for completing the equivalent of ten R-12 awards.

  3. RUSA K-Hound Award

    The board approved RUSA taking over the administration of the K- Hound award for completing 10,000 Km in a single calendar year.

  4. Procedure for Approving Non-Standard Routes

    The board discussed possible ways to allow case-by-case deviations from the route approval guidelines. Such deviations might be used to allow use of limited-hours ferries that would otherwise not be allowed.
