If you plan to ride PBP this summer this might be a good time to consider applying for the International Super Randonneur Award.

  • 1. The registration fee is £5 which covers the cost of a card, postage, cloth badge for successful riders and Randonneurs Mondiaux validation fee of 10ff.
  • 2. Entry must be made on the International Super Randonneur entry form available from: Sheila Simpson, ISR, 33 Hawk Green Road, Marple, Cheshire, SK67HR England.
  • 3. There is no time limit for the completion of the award.
  • 4. Riders collect the stamp and signature of the finish control of their completed 200, 300, 400 and 600k Brevets de Randonneurs Mondiaux. Each of which must be completed in a different country.
  • 4a. Riders may submit a backdated claim by filling in details of event, country, distance , date, brevet number and sending a photocopy of their brevets.
  • 5. The card of a successful rider will be validated by the Randonneurs Mondiaux President who will designate the rider an International Super Randonneur.
  • 6. There is also recognition for riders travelling to different continents to qualify, by the designation:
               International Super Randonneur - (implies one continent)
               2 Continents International Super Randonneur
               3 Continents International Super Randonneur
               4 Continents International Super Randonneur (not possible)
    
  • 7. A longer distance may be substituted for a shorter distance.
  • 8. The following designations will also be awarded:
               International Super Randonneur 600 (4 600k rides)
               International Super Randonneur 1000 (4 1000k rides)
               International Super Randonneur 1200 (4 1200k rides)
    

    For example, a rider undertaking three 600k rides in Europe and one 1000k in North America is designated as a 2 Continent International Super Randonneur 600.
