1 Approval of June Minutes and April and May Highlights

• All approved, with requested wording change to June minutes in place.

2 Update on the RUSA Store

All the RUSA Store stock is now located in California and is managed by Debra Banks.

The Board discussed updates to store management logistics and stocking.

3 RUSA Logo Project

Only a few additional submissions have been received since the last update. 

4 Website Update

Progress has been made on implementing and testing fleche results submission.

There was a request for clarification on how much information is needed to be sent to the ACP – tandems, recumbents, etc.

Nationality and gender fields for RM events have been added and tested;  will be available soon

In terms of getting website/RUSA questions which are not database and not website code related to the right person (e.g. data content issues); we need to do more/something about that.

5 RBA Applications and Region Status

For 2017, there will be new RBAs in Pittsburgh, PA and Eastern PA.

The board approved a new region/new RBA in Eugene, OR.

Discussions are continuing with a San Diego RBA candidate.

The New Mexico region has gone inactive.

6 2016 Elections

The board discussed scheduling and procedure for the 2017 Board Election.

7 Magazine Tasks

The volunteer managing advertising for the American Randonneur is stepping down.  The board discussed recruiting another volunteer or hiring someone to manage it.
